The last time I rode this horse I was 14 years old and my grandparents were alive. It’s hard to believe it was 40 years ago. I was overwhelmed with emotions recalling my Grandmother insisting I ride the carousel with my cousin Alicia who was 7 years old. Honestly I wanted to get back to Boston to see my boyfriend. The selfish ways of a teenager. What I would do to have those moments with my grandparents again. It’s so amazing how God gives you what you need at the precise season in your life. @pmktjubilee wanted to walk to Seaport Village and I had NO IDEA the carousel was there until I saw the Coronado Bridge.
